Are you interested in film and enjoy interacting with new people?

Volunteering at a film festival can be an exciting and rewarding experience which provides you with the opportunity to learn new skills, meet new people, and contribute to a community event. Before making a decision, consider the time commitment required and whether you are able to fulfill the minimum requirement of 12 hours. It is also important to attend the introduction training and be prepared to fulfill your duties as a volunteer, which could include:

• Greet audiences and help with any questions they might have.

• Provide the audience with general information about the festival.

• Event documentation and assisting with social media.

• Help with set-up and take downs for events

• Greet and take care of guests as well as engaging in conversations.

In return for your efforts, you will get an Arabisk filmfest t-shirt, have the opportunity to see lots of good films during the festival, gain valuable work experience and insight into how a film festival is run. You will also receive a work certificate documenting your efforts. Overall, if you are passionate about film and willing to commit the time and effort required, volunteering at the Arabisk filmfest could be an enriching and fulfilling experience!
